SubLab – your authorised Subaru service team

Welcome to SubLab, Northland’s only authorised Subaru service centre. For over 20 years we’ve proudly represented the Subaru brand while building long-lasting relationships throughout our region.

SubLab began in 1997, when Warren and Toni started Precision Automotive in Hannah St, Whangarei. As we continued to grow over the following years, we approached Subaru with the view of becoming Northland’s only Subaru parts and services team.

In January 2000 we marked the beginning of the new millennium when we moved to our bigger premises in Cameron St.

When Subaru made the call to make all their Parts & Service workshops fully uniformed, we were the first in NZ to embrace the change. Our whole team proudly wear and are part of the Subaru brand.

We’re passionate about Subaru vehicles and are dedicated to providing all our customers with great customer service, expert advice, and the latest technology.  Automotive technology is constantly evolving, that’s why we’re committed to keeping up to date with our training.

Warren

Leading the SubLab team, Warren started as an apprentice 30 years ago, working his way up to foreman of a multi franchise.

When he’s not in the workshop, Warren thrives on spending time outdoors where he indulges in a range of activities such as fishing, trail bike riding, water skiing and snow skiing.

Toni

A natural multitasker, Toni wears many hats in her daily life at SubLab and at home. She flawlessly manages the roles of receptionist and behind the scenes admin, where she is the first contact for most of our customers.

In her spare time, Toni loves spending time with family, skiing, mountain biking and enjoying summers at the beach as well as the occasional stint of boxing.

Dane

I have been spinning spanners for the last 20 years. Sublab has been my working home for the past 2 1/2 years. I look forward to each days challenges with the great team environment we have here.

Bevan

I started my Apprenticeship back in 1988.  A lot has changed over those years but the basics still apply.  Technology keeps getting better, Electric Vehicles being introduce so in my trade I am always updating my knowledge through our regular training.

Cody

I commenced as an Apprentice Technician at Sublab and are now a Fully Qualified Technician.  I am passionate about working in the Automotive Trade and eager to learn. I enjoy drawing and skateboarding and would one day like to own a personal project car.
